What They Say: "A fragrance inspired by the West Side's long monopoly on music. Home to Carnegie Hall, the Copacabana, Lincoln Center, Studio 54, Broadway musicicals as well as rock and disco music. It finds the scent equivalent for the sounds of music in its full-bodied, mellow composition, its undulating rhythms, its harmonies, its pitch - and yes, its notes. Fragrance, like music, is open to interpretation. Everyone who sniffs it will hear - and smell - a different melody of their own."
Notes: Rose, Ylang Ylang, Peony, Sandalwood, Amber, Vanilla, Musk
Jen's Experience: Right out of the box, this scent is absolutely lovely -- a terrific mix of romantic florals with a touch of vanilla and musk to keep the florals from being too cloying. Where the perfume I tested previously, Tom Ford Black Orchid, seemed to be heavy on the spice and light on the floral, this formula turns that around and puts the florals more in the forefront. This is still an excellent blend of fragrances for those who resist the floral scents, and the musk is not so heavy that it turns me (one who loves florals) off. This scent is incredibly long-lasting as well; perfume applied to my wrists before work is still fragrant upon my arrival home.
