NEW! Tarte aux Myrtilles by Laurence Dumont

What They Say: "A daring combination of elegant and fun, fruity notes, this infinitely feminine blend is a refreshing departure from the classic oriental fragrance.

Notes: Lemon, Blueberry, Caramel, Violet, Vanilla, Butter.
Style: Fresh. Feminie. Delicious."

Melissa's DeLush Downlow:
I am a fragrance junkie, I admit it. I definitely don't NEED any more perfume, but OH MY GOSH perfume is so much fun! I can't. help. myself.

So anyway, while I am generally a fan of sweet notes, this one may even be too sweet for me! That's saying a lot, really. Mostly it's at the first spray. Once it's been sitting on your skin for a little while it grows more complex, but I have to say that the dominant scent I smell here is the blueberry. Which, hey, is great on pancakes and all (mmmm...pancakes), but it is admittedly a little strong here at first. It's overall kind of tart. I like it, but can see how another person with a preference for something oriental or spicy wouldn't be a huge fan. I am looking forward to trying out the Vanille Chocolat or the Vanille Orientale, which definitely sound right up my alley.

Retail Price: $22.00 (sephora.com)
